To transfer data from one iPhone to another, you have a few options:
- iCloud Backup:
- Ensure both iPhones are connected to Wi-Fi and have enough storage space in iCloud.
- On the old iPhone, go to “Settings” > [Your Name] > “iCloud” > “iCloud Backup” and tap “Back Up Now” to create a backup of your data.
- On the new iPhone, follow the on-screen setup instructions until you reach the “Apps & Data” screen.

- Quick Start:
- Ensure both iPhones are running iOS 12.4 or later and have Bluetooth turned on.
- Place the two iPhones close to each other.
- On the new iPhone, follow the on-screen setup instructions until you reach the “Apps & Data” screen.
- Choose the “Transfer from iPhone” option.
- Use the camera on the new iPhone to scan the animation displayed on the old iPhone.
- Follow the prompts to set up Face ID/Touch ID on the new iPhone and complete the setup process. Your data will be transferred to the new device.
- iTunes Backup:
- Connect the old iPhone to a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed.
- Open iTunes and select the connected iPhone.
- Choose the “Encrypt iPhone backup” option and set a password if you want to save sensitive data like passwords and health data.
- Click “Back Up Now” to create a backup of your old iPhone.
- Disconnect the old iPhone and connect the new iPhone to the computer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the new iPhone until you reach the “Apps & Data” screen.
- Choose the “Restore from iTunes Backup” option and select the most recent backup you created in iTunes.
